Originally collected as a CD and now making a maiden LP showcase, the suite is exemplary of a probing attitude and freedom that came with the whole “laptop music” movement and glitch tekkerz of the late ‘90s into early ‘00s, when artists ranging from SND to V/Vm, Fennesz and Stephan Mathieu were combing electronic and acoustic music into finely granulised new stands that reflected the times’ transition into the digital era.
