“This is a split album with electroacoustic music. From the words by Guionnet about ‘Non-Solo’: “Marc Baron, a French saxophone player, asked me once to compose for him a sort of useful non-music that would help and disturb his playing while he is soloing: something built in sounds that wouldn’t prevent him from playing in ‘solo’ even thought that thing would be listened in the same time. This requisite drive me to a sort of logic I didn’t happen to know before. A logic, that little by little I manage to appreciate as a specific way of thinking in/with music. Let’s bet that time passing through the filter of the listener’s life and that very life tripping among time, where ever it sounds worth to go, can work as the needed solo when ever the solo can’t actually be there. From the words by Sigurtà about ‘Untitled’: “After a few months we had improvised and recorded in Bologna ‘Pocket Progressive’, we met again, this time in Biella, for following up that cd. As previous work we decided to work in home. The track is realized finding in the impro session a new meeting point of three different musical approaches.”
