“Story of Electricity was Sprung aus den Wolken’s fourth album and came out on French Les Disques Du Soleil Et De L’Acier label in 1987. For this record, the band embraced a more rock orientated approach, but still kept the noisy bits that made up their unique early sound. Maybe it could even be seen as the core Sprung album! It includes their underground hit “Lion” and is fast, loud and unpredictable. For this CD re-issue we have also included the brilliant “Pas Attendre” 12″ single. The title song was used in Wim Wender’s wonderful film about Berlin “Wings of Desire”. Another essential audio document from a band that evolved out of the Geniale Dilletanten movement.”
