Hilal Can Hole In Me flash exhibition with opening concert!

“Looking everywhere to find what will fill the hole with until finding out that nothing will fill it”
Hilal Can is an artist based in İstanbul. She is exhibiting her paintings, drawings, prints and objects that she did during her travels, as well as her mini zine which came out in Copenhagen with Cult Pump.
After 3 months of travel she will do her last event of the series at Staalplaat shop and perform Cyclop Visuals.
Joining her for this performance is Caroline Cecilia Tallone!

Cyclop Visuals is an analogue liquid & light show project using an overhead projector. The project aims to bring together musicians and sound artists from various disciplines and practices from all around the world and to visualize the moment in an analogue way by using an overhead projector. Hilal wants to create a new dialogue among artists and share it with new audiences. The visual part of the project focuses on improvisation, expressing emotions and illustrating sound stories by using different tools like liquids and characters.

Night On Earth Tzii & Lady Gaby
“Tzii, also known as “the mountain of multiple figures” and active since the 90’s met Lady Gaby in Neukölln at a PSCTV shooting in the ancient OTB. Then they recorded something in a cold old apartment of east berlin which still looks the same than when it was behind a wall (or in front, depends from which side you look at it), that’s the audio link you can listen to below. Then they played live together twice in Berlin at Unicornopium for Bruitisme festival (that’s the video below) and at Acud Mach Neu for Instruments Of Discipline. Now they will bring something else again, mixing spoken words with abstract electronics soundscapes.

The members has put out several releases on the danish collectives ‘yoyooyoy’ and ’egetværelse’, both individually as well as the self-titled ‘Gud Er Kvinde’ 10″ in 2008 and ‘Sun’ from 2014.”
