Emmi Valve (b. 1984) from Porvoo is known in the comics field for her award-winning self-published books and the obscene Emmi Valve Fan Club blog. Her comics have also been published, for example, in Helsingin Sanomat’s Now supplement and in Uusimaa. Sit When Your Face Explodes is Valve’s debut album.
