Oi! is a flick book that springs from a larger project by the artist Silja Leifsdottir, where she has staged ten people’s sneezes in front of the camera, to explore questions related to staging, concentration and loss of control.
The book consists of about fifty pictures taken from one of the sneezes, and thus provides an opportunity to study a person in detail during a sneeze, at one’s own pace.
