Slowly the name of the two French brothers, who operate under the name of Ultra Milkmaids, is gaining attention. So far they have released their music on their U-Mohol label, as well as Noise Museum. Later this year there will even be a remix CD on Japanese Noctovision label.

Last year they recorded this 40 minute work for VPRO’s ‘De Avonden’, with samplers and synthesizers. Using these by now common media, the ‘milkies’ create a dark, brooding atmosphere that will certainly appeal to fans of Coil (in fact somebody referred to it already as ‘the best thing Coil didn’t do themselves’).
