Years ago, Russell Miles (ironically nicknamed “Brother Russell”) made odd phone calls to talk radio shows and recorded them right off the radio as they happened. The best of these tapes were later compiled and released on CD.
Brother Russell calls talk radio programs (usually religious or conservative) and gets on the air as various characters, then takes the on-air freakiness to a level you won’t believe.
Brother Russell’s third and final release featuring “Melba Jackson”. 4 track ep, tracks 1 & 3 recorded live at La Zona Rosa, Austin, TX during the Subgenius Devival of 1997. Released as a disc only in a slimline jewel case, no artwork.
