Euclyde On Peyotl by Edouard Wolton contains monochromatic, screenprinted bitmap images that resemble the geometric sensitivity and interest in sublimation present within Wolton’s painted works. Portions of plants (suggestively Peyote) are abstracted with straight and circular shapes that extend out from the centre of each page. The indigo and brick-red used to print each bitmap image distracts from the inherently plant-like nature of each composition, evoking the hallucinogenic or psychodelic qualities of the Peyote plant.
