“Staer’s first release was a one-sided split LP (w/Kjetil Møster) on DMR. After extensive touring, two LPs on Gaffer Records and a split 7” (w/Horacio Pollard) on Le Petit Mignon the band is now back on DMR for this 12”EP. The record features two harsh funk abstractions at a total of 16 minutes. These are the last recordings the band made before their ongoing hiatus. The EP features a screen printed and die cut inner sleeve along with a 2-colour screen printed silver foil cover. Clear vinyl. Design by Kristoffer Riis. DMR will be releasing remastered editions of the two STAER LPs in 2016.”
