“1996 we were invited by Staalplaat to a week’s residency in the beautiful Prater in the old East Berlin.

Audio was recorded on cassette, so some distortion may be evident. The performance was continuous, track breaks are arbitrary.

(This is much more confident than the Nevers premier a year earlier, plus we had to climb into our friend Oliver’s hotel room to take a shower as there was no running water in our part of the city. Times change.)”
