This rare archive traces GmbH’s lifetime including key historical tracks, original compositions, special reworks and new pieces by some of the most relevant and forward thinking artists and producers of our time. This compilation is released by GmbH’s long-term collaborators LABOUR on their own imprint, studio LABOUR.

To the contributing artists, GmbH is more than a fashion brand, it is a “community of resistance and empowerment” (Lyra Pramuk) rooted in the “representation of diasporic style and sensuality” (Fatima Al Qadiri), fostering community and solidarity through its socio-political outlook, “a crucial and much needed voice of our times” (LABOUR).

GmbH: An Anthology of Music for Fashion Shows 2016-2023 Vol. 1 is limited to 500 copies, beautifully designed double-LP featuring the embossed kufic symbol of GmbH, with a musical timeline of all runway shows between 2016-2023 on printed gatefold. “Etched-in-stone”, the cover art curiously references archaeological discoveries and ancient futurisms, resulting in an object that belies time and place.”
