Ephemeral experiments created entirely on the computer, looking for algorithms/methods/techniques that make the multiple artificial sounds interact in such a way that the landscape/mechanism/ecosystem/being/sonic journey sounds organic and dreamlike. Each piece was made from start to finish over a period of a couple of hours. In i17x the common thread was the use of sequencers with several random parameters, and the use of similar software synthesizers throughout the album. All the pieces were mixed live with a high degree of improvisation when orchestrating. Artificial intelligence joins organic intelligence raising the possibility of illuminating the true essence of being through sound vibrations.
