For the Death in Death Valley project, Olivier Dumont abandons his bass to produce some more concrete sounds with music instruments he built himself, allowing him to play with physical and sonic material : metal, wood, glass, stone…
Nicolas Thirion captures the sounds, transform them directly with his computer and projects the music on several guitar and bass amps.
Death in Death Valley wanders at the borders between free impro, electronic and noise music, but never forgets its rock n’ roll roots.
