Recorded in the late ’80s and early ’90s using a variety of hardware synthesizers and two or three different MIDI sequencers. Mixed to DAT and released in 1993 on Kit Watkins’s Linden Music label. Thanks to Keyboard magazine for the loan of several instruments used in various tracks.
Jim Aikin has been writing about synthesizers for more than 30 years, for Keyboard and other magazines. He has also written a couple of books on electronic music technology. When not playing cello in community orchestras, he can often be found hunched over a computer in his home studio, composing and recording purely electronic instrumentals.
