“’Electro-City’ is the first full length CD release by Quest. Quest is one of the solo projects of Frans de Waard, whose best known projects are with Beequeen and Kapotte Muziek. On this CD you will find five excursions into ambient music. Not the kind of FM radio-diarrhea that you flush your toilet with, like the dime-a-dozen bands offered by more well known”ambient labels”, but something hovering at the fringe where ambient meets experimental and electronic music. Ambient music for Quest is the field were musicians can explore sound frequencies, minimalist changes and enveloping modules. On ‘Electro-City’ you will find three long examples of this, bracketed by two short tracks that act as prologue and epilogue.

‘Electro-City’ comes in a full color cardstock sleeve, packed inside a multi-fold 6 inch by 8 inch textured paper cover, all sealed in a heavy-gage plastic cover. It’s limited to 1000 copies and will not be reprinted. Lunar
