Founded in the early 1990’s, The On/Off Corporation (formerly On/Off) have gone through various changes, but always stayed true to their heavy industrial/electronic style. Constant member, French born Alain Leonard, is a master of samples and sounds. Playing sounds in the direction of Young Gods, Ministry, Skin Chamber, Das Ich, Killing Joke, Front 242, Klaus Nomi, The On/Off Corporation are a pearl in the Austrian underground scene, active since their startup, and welcoming many guest musicians (like Alex Wank, formerly of Pungent Stench, or Serbian bassist/cellist “53”). Their powerful live gigs leave you asking – how come this band doesn’t play for an audience of thousands?
