“Only using minimal source material (drums and percussion), greg and steven are able to create distinctive and varied improvisations. this music – recorded live at 3030 in chicago – reflects their mutual appreciation of space, texture, and sound exploration. steven played drums and percussion throughout while greg processed and transformed those sounds with a laptop in realtime using a custom built MAX/MSP environment. this cd is a document of that performance that happened one day in june 2005.”
