Chicago based Fred Lonberg-Holm and Lou Mallozzi meet Portugal’s Carlos Zingaro for intense improvisation. Lonberg-Holm, a former student of Morton Feldman and Anthony Braxton, is known currently for his projects Terminal 4, The Boxhead Ensemble, Pillow, and the Lonberg-Holm/Kessler/Zerang Trio. He is also currently a member of the Guillermo Gregorio Trio, the Peter Brotzmann Chicago Tentet, XMARSX, and Witches and Devils (music of A. Ayler). Carlos Zingaro transitioned from classical music in the late 1960’s to develop a new music based on contemporary music and improvisation. Lou Mallozzi is an audio artist and sound deconstructionist, having collaborated with Michael Vorfeld, Mats Gustafsson, Jaap Blonk, Sebi Tramontana, Terri Kapsalis, Michael Zerang, Guillermo Gregorio, Birgit Ulher, Hal Rammel, and many others.
