A selection of four pieces from the cassette »Normaler Bürger« with different sound pieces: musical montages, performance recordings, spoken pieces, recordings of everyday actions, conversation recordings. In the 80s, Stan Back had mixed prepared endless cassettes of different lengths via several cassette recorders with a mixing console in more than a hundred multimedia performances. These live mix soundtracks became time-space installations through staged actions and visual experiments, e.g. with Dreamachines after Brian Gysin.
